What is EM Sculpt?

EM Sculpt is the only non-invasive machine that targets muscle and fat using the all-new HIFEM (High Intensity Focus Electromagnetic) and MRI technology, and has been granted five patents by the USPTO (U.S. Patent and Trademark Office).
The HIFEM energy irradiated in a single treatment induces approximately 20,000 muscle contractions, achieving ultra-maximal muscle contractions (muscle contraction up to 7 cm under the skin) that cannot be reached by normal voluntary muscle movement.
In order to achieve high clinical efficacy, various combinations of pulses are generated during treatment, resulting in three patterns of stimulation. These supramaximal muscle contractions stimulate a rapid metabolic reaction in fat cells that initiates lipolysis, and fat cells overwhelmed by this metabolic reaction undergo programmed cell death (apoptosis). This results in muscle growth and strengthening, as well as lipolysis.
Despite this effectiveness, the HIFEM energy selectively affects only motor neurons, so there is no damage to the skin. There is virtually no pain or downtime, allowing for a 30-minute treatment without worrying about before or after the treatment.
Until now, slimming devices have generally used EMS (electrical stimulators), but EMS energy is concentrated in the surface layer and only a portion of it can reach the muscles. In addition, EMS is limited in intensity due to the risk of pain and burns.
