Precautions for treatment / Aftercare
- After surgery, you may experience discomfort such as stiffness or tightness in the wound area when moving your lips for speaking or eating.
It gradually settles down with the passage of time and the wound’s acclimation, but it may take about 1-2 months. - Postoperatively, we prescribe painkillers and other medications.
In the immediate postoperative period, there may be some mild pain or discomfort with touch or facial expression, but there will be no major disruption in daily life. - Wash the face gently from the next day, including the wound, and then continue with the ointment application procedure 2-3 times a day.
- Showering and hair washing are allowed on the same day as long as the face is not wet, and the next day as usual. Bathing is allowed after 4 days.
- Makeup can be applied on the same day except for the wounds. The wound can be removed after the stitches are removed.

Anesthesia and treatment
Local anesthesia is administered to begin the procedure. The surgery will take approximately one hour.

Stitches are removed approximately one week later. On the day of surgery, depending on the situation, gauze and tape may be used to apply pressure. There is no need to put gauze on the wound after the next day.
