What is Pico Blemish Removal Laser?
Pico laser, which targets only blemishes, realizes a high-tiered treatment.
By pinpoint irradiating only blemishes, this “Pico Laser” can remove blemishes as thin scabs without damaging healthy skin. Our clinic is the first to introduce the “Enlighten SR” in Japan, and we are eliminating our patients’ blemish problems on a daily basis. The laser emits light at an astonishingly short cycle of pico-seconds (one trillionth of a second) and pulverizes only melanin without damaging the skin. It removes spots and dullness in a short time that could not be removed by conventional laser equipment, and also has an excellent skin rejuvenation effect.
Precautions for treatment / Aftercare
- After the treatment, please take adequate protection against ultraviolet rays.
- Immediately after irradiation, the skin turns white and red, then gradually forms a thin reddish-brown to black scab (crusting), which naturally disappears in about 4 to 7 days.
- Please moisturize thoroughly after the treatment.
- Avoid excessive rubbing with strong massage or skin care.
- Scabs will form for less than a week, but makeup can be applied the next day.
- Avoid taking saunas or half-bathing on the day of treatment.
